L’œuvre parle du fameux procès de Latina filmé par la télévision d’État et diffusé par la RAI le 26 avril 1979. Ce soir là, la télévision italienne montra le spectacle d'une mentalité imprégnée de machisme, capable de transformer la victime en instigatrice et donc en coupable. Avec mes objets accrochés au mur comme corps pendus, condamne explicite au viol, j'engage le public à accrocher au sujet, par des formes étranges faisant appelle aux intestins, aux parties intimes de la femme: la bouche dans le portrait, le plateau dessiné, lieux de la honte.
The work is about the famous Latina trial filmed by state television and broadcast by RAI on April 26, 1979. That evening, Italian television showed the spectacle of a mentality imbued with machismo, capable of transforming the victim into an instigator and therefore a culprit. With my objects hung on the wall as hanging bodies, explicitly condemning rape, I urge the public to hang on to the subject, with strange forms that appeal to the intestines, to the intimate parts of the woman: the mouth in the portrait, the drawn tray, places of shame.
